# Tokenization

When with an initial (card) payment a token is generated ([see here for more info](https://developer.pay.nl/docs/recurring-payments#/)) we call your exchange to supply you with the token which you can use for the recurring payment.

| Action  | Moment                                                                                               |
| :------ | :--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `token` | When a card payment has been succesfully captured and tokenization is enabled on your saleslocation. |
